Wednesday 15th, December 2021, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA roundoff its 3 days Budget Retreat with high hope of a successful fiscal year, having created, analysed and perfected a resilient budget for 2022.

According to the Executive Chairman, Bldr. Olusesan Daini, “This project is tagged resilient budget because it is vision-based, with purpose-driven flexibilities”

He stated that “This budget is with clear-cut, concise, catalytic and compelling vision; epi-centred on Education, Roads, Health and General Welfare”

He further stated, “the nature and style of this budgets has diverse creativities and ingenuities in revenue generation and mechanism to abolish funding of purposeless undertakings, because we have the onus of achieving the set goals”

The seriousness of the 2022 fiscal year required professional and managerial trainings which motivated the invitation of Mr. Fatai Onafowote, D.G Lagos State Procurement Agency to educate the attendees the rudiments of Successful Budget Performance, Due Process and Team Work in the first Day of the retreat.

The Second Day of the retreat had Mr. Femi Ogunlana, the Auditor General for Local Government in Lagos State as a speaker, informing the attendees on “Public Finance Management Circle”

In attendance also was the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA, Hon. Lanre Sulaimon whom visited his colleague, Bldr. Olusesan Daini for the objective of identifying the quality of the retreat.

The stage is thus set to map the budget before the parliament for legislative approval and comprehensive and honest undertaking of the fiscal document.
